Original Madras Trading Co

Original Madras Trading Company is a family-run clothing and textile company with roots in Madras, India and New York City. Since the early 1970s, the company has specialised in authentic Madras cloth and garments, producing for some of the most recognised names in American menswear.
Today, OMTC continues to make its clothing in-house in Madras, using pure cotton handwoven on traditional handlooms before being cut and sewn by its own team. Known for lightweight Madras checks, shirts and relaxed summer clothing, the brand blends Indian textile craftsmanship with classic American Ivy style.
